Honduras / Medium
Liga de Reyes
Raices Cubanas
By Abid Amiri
A 100% Honduran toro with earthy, leathery and cedar character that develops gentle fruit notes in the second half. A palatable medium-bodied smoke at an accessible price.
In the Cigar DatabaseTasting progression
First third
Mostly earthy and leathery notes at the start with slight hints of cedar.
Second third
Flavour notes mostly retained the same character, with slight hints of fruit starting to develop. The burn remained slightly uneven and needed adjustments occasionally.
Final third
Cedar and fruit notes became more prevalent, blending with the earthy and leathery character from the opening.
Final Verdict
A nice and palatable medium-bodied cigar that is not overwhelming with strength or flavour. There are other offerings that bring a more interesting profile at the same price, but it remains an easy, approachable toro.
